These reserves are displayed on the dial by an indicator sweeping an arc of 166º, which affords great readability. This indicator is accompanied by two others—for the date and periods of night and day—on this elegant dial. This model is a unabashed demonstration of power, which, however, in no way detracts from its simple sophistication.
THE DIAL
Energy and fleeting time are inseparable partners, and Central Power’s dial constantly reminds us of this fact. A gauge on the dial, an arc of 166º, informs you in the clearest and simplest manner possible of the remaining power, serving as a graphic of the power needed by the movement. In addition to this gauge, a day/night indicator is found on the dial, which, in conjunction with the calendar, tracks the time between sunrise and sunset.
THE BACK
On the reverse of the watch the owner can avail of a sapphire crystal which will allow him to view the automatic movement in all its complexity.
COMPLICATIONS
This model’s main complication is its great power reserves which permit the watch to function for 42 hours without any need on the part of the owner to wear or rewind it. Added to this technical feat is a gauge on the dial which will keep the owner informed as to its power reserves. Another chief complication is the date indicator, which is accompanied by a day/night indicator.
